Salwa El Moussaoui

Salwa El Moussaoui is a business development and investment professional with more than 15 years of strategic experience driving renewable energy and infrastructure projects across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

At Clean Rivers, she leads efforts to build strategic partnerships that mobilise investment for circular economy and waste management solutions that benefit riverine communities. Her work supports Clean Rivers’ mission to scale impact through blended finance, innovation, and collaboration.

Previously, she was a senior manager at Masdar, where she spearheaded clean energy projects through government partnerships across sub-Saharan Africa. Salwa brings deep expertise across the project lifecycle in support of sustainable infrastructure and development goals.

Salwa holds a Master’s in Economics of Sustainable Development from IPF School and a Master’s in finance from University d’Auvergne, France. She speaks Arabic, French, and English fluently.
